Thrilling in parts but be warned the crimes are pretty gruesome.

This story is so fascinating. I loved listening to Paul talk about his tenacity and determination. Some of the interviews were a little dry but it is science.

I read I’ll Be Gone in the Dark awhile ago, and the first maybe 2/3 of Evil Has a Name was a rehash of what was in that fantastic book. That said, I would still give this one five stars because you can hear the actual people speak in their interviews, and the extra information about DeAngelo made it worth it.

This isn’t something I’d usually listen to. I had it on audible as it was free so I gave it a go.
It’s harrowing, exciting and down right wicked.
It’s great to hear how the police never give up.

Done as a series of interviews , it was interesting but nothing overly original
It is really fascinating how they used genetic genealogy to find this perpetrator that terrorized many for years. Crime solving technology has come a long way, and continue to become more advanced every year. Former cold cases are being solved — it is a very compelling time for law enforcement and justice seekers.
