This one was longer than the rest of the series. It has to me three parts: what happened after Robin's wedding, and a mystery split in two parts.

Overall it was an easy read and the mysteries themselves kept me interested. There was a bit of social (political?) commentary that I feel should have been turned down a bit.

Now, the things that kinda ruined it for me a bit:

Just in case my spoiler tag is messed up: THE FOLLOWING LINES CONTAIN SPOILERS
Spoiler
- Does she really have to go there with a Strike-Robin romantic relationship? Can we just have a cute friendly collaborative detective partnership?
- Are we really supposed to believe that Strike is a pussy-magnet?
- We will have a book centered around Charlotte, aren't we? ugh

Highly recommended

Probably the best in this series so far. Very exciting and interesting plot. I like the way the series is heading. 👍🏼

Lethal white is a decidedly unmodern novel, but is nevertheless a masterwork in character and story. Much like her children’s stories Rowling has an innate skill for forming characters you feel like you are spending time with. Here that intimacy is realized with a gentleness and deftness new to Rowling’s writing.

Just so enjoyable!

I love this series

First Galbraith I've read. Dragged a little in the middle (like it could have been edited a bit) but overall I really liked it.

She is wordy but Rowling writes a good story even if complicated.
