These books get better and better. I came to the realization today that this series is basically Game of Thrones for children. I love these books!

Loyalty to the clans was a big focal point of this book, I was constantly cringing every time Fireheart put a paw out of line, because his Kitty pet origins will constantly follow him and test his loyalties more than any clan born warrior.
My heart broke for Gray Stripe but honestly didn’t see things going any other way for him. He was going to have to choose his clan or love eventually.

Ready for book 4
When my lovely fiancé told me to read these books I told her I would read one and then something else in between. She told me that I wouldn't be able to do that because the story is to great. Il admit that I was a bit skeptical, I was like they're cats, surly it couldn't be that good. I have never been more wrong, these books are by far the best series I have ever read. I am now half way through the first series and whenever I finish a book I get straight into the next one. Thank you Chevelle for getting me into these books they are awesome :). Book three so has been my favorite.

Fond memories of reading these books as a kid. From what I remember it was good world building, and a lot of sort of tribe politics which I liked.
This is another completely perfect Warriors book! If you want to read a forbidden forest romance plotline done correctly, this is it. It actually lasts a solid amount of time, has two characters connect emotionally, and has consequences for the cats and their clans. The overarching plot for this arc is also advanced quite a bit here, and Fireheart matures a lot. I really do love the original series so much, and this is one of the best books in it.
