I loved this book so much. I loved the Aladdin vibes it was giving me. It was a great read and I can’t wait to read more books by this author.

I kept expecting it to get better. I was determined to finish it and I did. It wasn't unreadable, I wouldn't call it bad, but it wasn't good either. It was adequate. Meh.

I won't go into too much detail or it'll feel like I hated the book, and I didn't, but I had many problems with it. There were a lot of good ideas in the there, but the execution left a lot to be desired. I feel it was a mistake to have a dual PoV with changes each chapter. Might have found it more enjoyable with only the occasional Vinn chapter. A lot of the time it felt like nothing was happening.

This whole book just feels like a big nothing.

This was a very cute, and fast read. There is a little adventure, second chance romance, and forbidden love. I definitely enjoyed reading this book, and liked the two main characters. I know this was a novella, but I kind of wish some things were explained a little more in detail. But overall, this was a very good read. I recommend this if you are looking for a fade-to-black romance with fae/gods and adventure.
