Will, or Daddy P as his teammates call him, can't keep a nanny for his daughter to save this life! When her Kindergarten teacher, Chloe, steps in to save the day one day, she agrees to become her temporary nanny. That turns into a full-time gig pretty quickly and she moves into his guest house.
Chloe is inexperienced, and Will, while grumpy, is incredibly attractive. They work out an arrangement. They start a friends/colleagues with benefits situation, with spicy lessons, steam, and definite attraction. But they both need their nannying arrangement to continue-- they can't risk blowing that up-- so they have to draw the line at feelings. Which may prove harder than they think!
I love when a grump gets tamed, and the chemistry between the MMC and FMC is explosive.
I really enjoyed this book. It's hard to pass up a Kandi Steiner book!

This might be the best book in the series so far, but I continue to wonder why Kandi's style has changed so drastically.
I didn't connect with the characters much, and it seems they didn't either. My main issue with these kinds of books is that the characters decide to act on their physical needs too soon, and the spice overshadows the emotional growth of the relationship.
It's an okay read, not too deep, not too exciting. Once the physical attraction is removed, there isn't much left between the characters; there's no development in their feelings.
It's a pretty bland romance story.

The popsicle scene will live in my head rent free
So this was probs my fave of the 3 in this series, but the ending felt so so rushed!! Like Will did a 180 in a 6 hour period. The first 75% kinda dragged on.
This was definitely my favorite out of the series! Sometimes you just need something mindlessly enjoyable and this was that. It was fun, it passed the time, and honestly I couldn’t stop reading. However, nothing about this book is too deep. I didn’t get super close to the characters or care too much for the plot.
Not as good as the first two in the series. I got the ick when they went to Disney world and she got a makeover.
The MMC of this book really needed therapy (a large part of the plot focused on his dead wife and at first it was sweet but then it felt weird), and I felt bad for the MFC because he had oodles of emotional baggage
Well, this is a book I could re-read on the regular. I absolutely loved it.
Will Perry is the goalie, a single dad who lost his wife/best friend when their daughter Ava was just an infant. He's struggled to find a nanny who knew how to care for Ava without trying to also find her way into his bed.
Chloe Knott is Ava's kindergarten teacher at a private school, and has nannied on the side for other families. Will finds her attractive, but his daughter's care comes first.
Until they find one another irresistible - and he strikes a deal with Chloe to have a 'no feelings allowed' relationship on the side. He thinks he's bad with words, with his feelings, and he's not willing to open himself up to the pain of losing someone again. But this could work, right? Ha.
Chloe was raised by her mother and her grandmother, who are both charter members of the "men are bad" club. She had one awful experience in college, but other than that, she's never had a boyfriend, and she's never had a close circle of women friends. She keeps to herself a lot - a very young cat lady.
The chemistry was off the charts - and there was some angst from me toward both characters. I wanted Will to figure out his emotional issues, and I felt for Chloe when she fell - like we all knew she would from Chapter 1. Since one of Will's rules was "nobody can know", neither of them had anyone to talk to. But help came to Will from an unexpected source and the end result is amazing.
So... Learn Your Lesson gets all the stars I withheld from Watch Your Mouth and then some. I read on Kindle while also listening on Audible and Hannah Chiclana and Max Lindsey were amazing. I think Hannah might be my #1 favorite female narrator and I don't say that lightly. I wasn't a fan of the voice of Maven in this one but eh... Also, I found Grace just as annoying in her brief appearances in this story as I did in WYM. Sorry not sorry.
