The nanny trope has been hitting hard lately.
Throw in a broody single dad/ goalie and swoon.

Daddy P was a top tier single dad with a dirty mouth.
Ava: the growth of this little girl in this book

Thank you to Valentine PR and Kandi for this ARC!

This hockey series is becoming one of my favorites and if you love a single dad and nanny then this is for you!

Chloe is a sunshiney kindergarten teacher who helps Daddy P with his daughter. When he asks her to nanny and move in she decides to try it for extra money. The forced proximity and Chloe’s energy causes the two to begin a benefits relationship. They’re not friends but he’s teaching her about what she likes because of her not being very experienced.

Of course she makes the grumpy dad and his daughter smile and brings them so much love! Chloe is strong and comes from strong women.

Check TW but there is mention of loss of a parent (Daddy P was married and lost his wife).

I’m so excited for the next in this series!

amazing

Speechless is the best way to describe how this book leaves me.  The previous 2 books in this series introduce the quiet team goalie, Will Perry (aka Daddy P).  He comes across as the tame wise one that always has a good head on his shoulders.  Boy oh boy was I misled.  Not that he isn't wise, but I wouldn't use tame to ever describe him after this book.  I'm unsure I'll ever look at a popsicle the same again.

I've read and listened to this book.  Both are perfect.  The narrators hit the mark with the audiobook.  They not only read the story but also make you feel the story.

Will is a single father after his wife passed away.  He can't seem to find a nanny for his daughter, Ava, without ulterior motives. Luckily Ava's teacher, Chloe, is able to help him out when a nanny doesn't pick Ava up from school.  Chloe offers to help out with Ava since she really doesn't have anything else going on in her life.

After moving into the guest house and setting the goal to make Ava and Will smile/laugh at some point, Chloe starts to wiggle her way into their lives without trying.  Her fun personality, her creative outfits, her a-hole cats… they're all qualities that Will finds interesting.

Daddy P makes his appearance when he offers to make an arrangement with Chloe.  No emotions, no friendship, no kissing.  Just hooking up.  That's all.  And do you think either of them can keep those rules?  All I can say is get this book and find out for yourself. You won't regret it.  There are some rather interesting (and fun) spicy scenes throughout this book that will not disappoint.
emotional hopeful fast-paced

Chloe was majorly cringy at certain times.
