This was a fast read. It was an any story line. I would have liked it to be longer though.

Reborn by Michelle Fox is part of the Blood Courtesan series of books.

Wow, this story had me hooked the whole time I was reading it.
It has enough action and intrigue to satisfy my adrenaline junkie and also enough Romance to satisfy that mushy side of me too. It was a really good read and I am actually looking forward to reading the other books in the series now.

Myras personality is one of a strong willed, stubborn but passionate woman who has an innocence and nativity about the vampire world, until she is tossed straight in the deep end and has to learn very quickly to stay afloat.

Kristos is everything you'd want in a vampire protector. Loyal, strong, determined and caring all rolled into one sexy package. I believe that Michelle got the very best out of these characters when they are together.

I loved the originality of the story set in the popular vampire genre and also the humour that Michelle writes with. If you not an action packed, paranormal romance with some humour, this book shouldn't be missed.

I found like book while scanning through paranormal authors on Amazon. I decided to check it out and was thoroughly unimpressed.
The book started off with me having high hopes, but soon had me cringing. First, a girl who's needing money decides to be a blood courtesan, what's not to like? A lot apparently. The story is rushed and parts that need to be explained aren't while those that don't need to be explained are. Myra, our leading lady, didn't always use her brain and made me cringe. Kristos helped her and was brains and smarts at every turn. Until the part where she's all alone and she has to do it on her own, and even then she waits too long to escape and gets caught again. It takes Kristos to save her another time. In the end, it seems they live happily ever after but it leaves a lot to the imagination and doesn't explain things as well as I'd like.
I didn't feel there were enough substantial characters or enough explaining. I feel disengaged and couldn't relate to Myra in the least.
Maybe I'm picky but there's just some things I like when I read a book. I would chance reading this author again because I like to give more than one chance to an author. Maybe I'll be impressed with the next book I read.

Myra needs cash fast to pay off her mums cancer treatments. She has heard the cash is flowing as a blood courtesan and decides it's her only hope. Kristos is set up as her trainer and first client. But when their "date" is interrupted by gunfire she wonders if he is as safe as Madame assured her he was!

But as the story develops we learn that the mysterious father Myra has never known is complicating her life from afar and the bad guys want HER not Kristos!!

Fabulously well written, quick read but with an actual storyline. Kristos is brilliant ly badass and just the gentle handler that Myra needs. But Myra is no slouch and whilst she may be a bit naive she is more than willing to get stuck in when the bullets fly. I loved the way she handler her wardrobe malfunction!!!
