I always mark a book down a point for cliff hanger endings (believe the author should have the confidence in their book that we'd choose to come back to the series without such games). This book went full gamut cliff hanger.

It is an enjoyable lighthearted read and others in the series do not go for the dreaded cliff hanger.

This series is an enjoyable and easy read. Plus it is fun to read a book with witty dialogue. The combination of a steampunk Europe with vampires and werewolves always makes for an interesting setting.

AMAZING

These books are silly, frivilous fun. In parts, I feel like they are kind of confusing because of all of the scientific elements that she throws in and she uses words at times that almost seem made up. Turns out they are just ancient (thanks Kindle dictionary) and I learned something new.

She looses me in the more science heavy explanations at times but I keep reading because I love the parts with Alexia and Conall. Didn't really love the cliffhanger. Also, don't appreciate that I have to wait until September for a resolution. *sigh* Oh well, it'll give me something to look forward too.

I didn't like it as much as the first two but I still enjoyed it. The thing I like the most about these books is when Alexia and Conall are together. They were together for maybe 5-10 kindle sized pages. *shrug*

Did make me want to go back and re-read the first one though. I really enjoyed that piece of fluff. :) And I wouldn't be opposed to a sequel to see what comes of their soulless/werewolf offspring.

I don't know why I never listed this one...I certainly read it ages ago!

Nada más que el final... ¡Noooooooooooooo, por qué ese final! ¡Aggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

(Cliffhanger gigante y terrible)

The first book was definitely better. Also, I hate it when books end the way this one did.

I can’t get enough of this series! So very good!
