This book is not bad by any means- her storytelling and teachings just didn’t grip me in a way that I felt was applicable to where I am with ~my journey~ right now

The first time I tried to read this book, in early 2018, the first 100 pages helped me so much that I recommended it two other people and didn’t even finish reading it. I’m glad to have finished it and enjoyed all the other pieces of wisdom within the following 200 pages.

Eh. I won’t say I didn’t get anything out of it, but my favorite parts were the quotes from OTHER authors, so that’s not the best recommendation. There was a lot of descriptions of therapy sessions involving guided imagery, ex. “Imagine a fairy that represents your fear. What color is the fairy?” I just don’t get anything out of stuff like that. I was looking for more philosophy and less therapy and guided meditation scripts.
