Oops, Rebus' temper got the better of him and the force got the better of him by sending him off for anger management classes leaving Siobhan handling the art dealer's murder.

Rankin has got more twists and turns...and he is just not put-downable.

an inspector reebus book -- i'm not reading them in order, but have picked up a random, satisfying few.

To say just another usual Rebus is to do Ian Rankin a massive disservice. With two side by side investigations and some great tension this was enjoyable as ever

All the head games, secrets, and double crosses! This was a great outing for Rebus. He gets sent to a retraining course after throwing a mug at Gill Templar. Not everything is as it seems. I especially liked DS Siobhan Clarke’s storyline.

Another thrilling page turner by Ian Rankin. Elements of his life definitely get darker as the series progresses and we see a man haunted by his past actions. Will they be the end of him one day?

Another great Rebus novel, took this away on holiday and was perfect easy reading. A good few twists and turns in this one, can't say much about it really, you know what you get with a Rebus novel!

I found this to be an okay but not great read. The plot seemed to take a long time to progress.
