I don't understand how some people hated Kamrans POV, I liked the political machinations and the coming of a age of a boy prince batteling to become a reluctant king. But the story lay with Alizeh and my conflicted opinions of Cyrus, who I am routing for as a character but I'm not sure if he's the guy for Alizeh, or Kamran. Also, finally the found family trope! The only reason it's not 5 stars, because, even though the story unfolds in about 48hours and lots happens in that time, not a lot really happens to add to the overall plot. It's written really well though and kept me invested.

Still beautifully written, well rounded characters, the author knows how to tell a story! And she is very very creative and gosh, she's very talented. Only thing is that it felt like an inbtween book. I read through it in a day. I guess a craved a bit more how to say it... id wish we could have gotten a liiiitlle bit further into the story.
