Tbh not a lot happened in this book?? 
Alizeh has been captured by Cyrus who brings her back to his kingdom and castle. Kamran is left behind and bands together a crew of ppl to go rescue Alizeh. 
I loved the dynamic between Cyrus and Alizeh though; the yearning is chefs kiss and it was compulsively readable because I just wanted to read about them tbh.

NEED CYRUS IN WAYS THAT IS NOT ONLY CONCERNING TO FEMINISM BUT WOULD SET IT BACK TO 50 YEARS AS WELL

i have a love-hate relationship with cyrus and this felt like more of a filler/novella esque kind of book but will i be seated for the next? absolutely!
