This was bad in the way reality tv is, which for me made enjoyable for me.

Okay, this book was so good had me hooked, loved the switching point of view throughout, and loved the little conflicts that happened throughout the book. But the plot seemed none existent like it relied on the subplots.

Definitely did not like this one as much on the second read. Changed my rating to 2 stars.

This was adorable and so so good. I’m really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Highly recommend if you are looking to pick up a cute contemporary!

AAAAAH that was SO good. i loveloveloved this book & the relationship in it. whenever i put it down, i was itching to pick it back up again.

the only remotely negative side was that i didn’t like / agree with a couple of the things penny thought or said. also, the ending felt a little bit abrupt. other than that, perfection.

simply put, chef’s kiss.

4.5 out of 5 stars

I had been anticipating this book for a while, and when I finally had it in my hands and reading it my thoughts flip flopped. I found it to be a slow start, it didn’t go anywhere in the direction I thought it would, there were many ends that I didn’t like how they ended and the romance part wasn’t that great until the end. Though, I did love both of the characters I just wish they had been written more in depth and their relationship more developed. The ending felt sudden and then there also once again felt like parts of the book were not needed and made it longer and or I wish they had been filled with parts that made the story make more sense? (I loved the dialogue tho the whole way through the book! I don’t think I have ever noticed or enjoyed reading dialogue as much as in this book)
All In all though it wasn’t that bad of a read, and I didn’t hate the writing. This would make for a great breezy summer read I just regret pumping myself up for it or else maybe this review would’ve been more positive. That being said, 100% consider this for a fun summer read :)
