informative reflective slow-paced

I like the basic ideas of this book but claiming these techniques relieve depression, reverse gangrene, recover eyesight, heal physical illnesses is… a bit extreme.

10 out of 5 !

fantastic book. It is so much wisdom inside. It will only work when you start implementing it in your own life. I will definitely reread it!

P.S. If you are skeptical about energies and the whole concept of „letting go“ than it is definitely not your book.

I really enjoyed this book, not sure I fully agree with everything discussed.

I’m so glad I was introduced to the letting go technique. I will look back at this book for the rest of my life! Such a valuable read :)
informative fast-paced

The book's fundamental idea is interesting and even helpful, bit it's repeated countless times through many examples which do not add anything. There are also many problematic sections, i.e., implying that cancer somehow can be cured by "letting go" of a negative feeling, and multiple reference to outdated gender roles. Could be a 10 page essay rather than an entire book.

I agree with a past review that the first half is good while second half gets way too new age for me. Jumbling science and spirituality to make all of your dreams come true; even blindness! Some ideas in here though are worth pursuing.

Saying that people in poverty are in poverty because they are apathetic? Wow. Wowwwww.

Possibly the best of its genre. If you want to read any book to help improve your well-being, this one is in the top 5. I found that many 'spiritual/self-improvement' are mostly theory. This one also explain the theory but provides the basis of a simple technical that truly helps when used regularly. I would recommend reading this book along with Tara Brach Radical Acceptance.
One of the things that I did not appreciate in the book is when the author says that using the technique for a long period of time allows to eat whatever chemical full food without being affected by it. Why I understand the theory of it, I don't appreciate the author's lack of sensitivity that eating such type of food is more than affecting or not your body; it affects the environment, animals, health of others etc. Other than that it's a book I plan to re-read regularly as the wisdom is practical and uplifting.

This is in its core exteremly profound stuff. However, the medical advice and the practical examples and case studies look a little iffy to me here and there. Otherwise this would have been 5 stars.
