H/h are both in their 40s! And Rose is not a stick figure! This is the first book I've read by Olivia, and it will not be my last. I loved how both of the characters had such real confidence issues. Loved that they found each other ❤️

As a teacher, I walked into it a little worried there would be a bunch of “hot for teacher” jokes, and I am so happy there weren’t.
I would love if someone saw the amount of time I stayed at school and graded papers as a turn on, because let me tell you, it’s generally a deal breaker.
The characters are great and the relationship is a little slow moving for my liking, but I appreciate their story. I would have liked a little more flirty banter and a little less silent longing in the halls.

This book was just okay. I feel like something was just missing from it to make it great. I can’t place my finger on what was missing, but I can’t shake the feeling that something was. My favorite parts were with Annette and Alfred. They were the best!
This book was delightful! I would call this a 'quiet' romance book. Which is a weird way to describe it, but it wasn't super in your face and red hot - there are some hot moments, but this was a story about adults who knew what they wanted and what they were worth. I loved how they talked through their issues - it was great.
Recommend for when you need a little slower pace book.

I truly loved this book so much! The romance was everything I didn't even know I was craving. Rose and Martin fit together like two puzzle pieces. I loved that there was a plus-sized heroine. There was a good focus on diversity in the book as well, and no weird mysoginistic crap from the male love interest. I even got surprisingly emotional in a few scenes. Also the way the author wrote about teaching gave me a lot of feelings. I am very excited to read the rest of this author's work.
Graphic: Emotional abuse
Moderate: Misogyny, Death of parent
Minor: Fatphobia, Physical abuse, Toxic relationship

A sweet romance between two divorced teachers with a fair amount of baggage. This was a lovely slow burn, as each brings down their barriers.
I can't help but imagine Teach Me is a teacher's dream, since it spent as much time describing the lesson plans and process for preparing for test prep as it did the romance! ;)
I particularly liked how the author explained all of the things Martin thinks through when he is talking to Rose. All of his holding back on man-splaining, or otherwise stepping on Rose. Olivia is writing a manual for men looking to understand how to respect the women in their lives. I recommend this as a Bromance Bookclub (by Lyssa Kay Adams) read ;)
Overall a fun romance, and I am ready for more Olivia Dade.
