This book was interesting. I haven’t read many bbw books, and didn’t love how that was focused on a bit too much. The male main character obviously doesn’t care, but the author herself obviously does. I liked the chemistry between the main characters, so that saved it for me, there were just a few too many references to her weight that it was frustrating at times.

Found this very enjoyable, I love a romance that’s mostly working through emotional issues rather than external conflict. There was a little bit too much about AP classes which was both boring and confusing to someone unfamiliar with this aspect of the American school system.

I also thought there was something a bit off about the class elements but can’t put my finger on it. (Class as in classism, not classrooms)

This was certainly better than the last Olivia Dade book I read! I really enjoyed the story, the characters, and the relationship development. Rose was so strong, and I appreciated her struggles with opening up and relying on others. The slowburn and build up between her and Martin was well done. I did not care for the spice to be honest. Never really a fan of how Olivia Dade writes it. A book I reached for and wanted to keep reading. Great ending.
