Detailed review to come but for now, this was super cute and the communication between the couple was so good. I also liked the fact that both MCs were in their 40s and the whole teaching context.
I had a few issues with the plot though and with the heroine. But in overall it was a really nice romance!

I decided to read this because after seeing the synopsis I found the plot quite interesting. Two teachers falling in love, yes please!
I also appreciated how the main characters aren't your perfect romance book standard male and female. We have a plus size woman and a short man, both in their 40s. I like that, tell me more!
But... Oh, man. This was painfully boring. There were way too many paragraphs about the US school system which were so overwhelming. I'm not an American so it was really hard to follow all that explaining, it gave me a headache.
I also didn't like the public display of affection at the end. It was a bit cringy, I was expecting it, but it was poorly delivered.
I really love both main characters and their background stories. I also appreciate the slow burn while building their relationship. But overall, this didn't impress me at all. Sorry.

This wasn't my favorite Olivia Dade book but I did still enjoy this workplace, single Dad, dual POV romance between two divorced, 40+ MC high school teachers. There was great chemistry between these two and I liked the Fat and Childfree by choice rep. Overall just an okay read with a couple good steamy scenes. Great narration by Kelsey Navarro, one of my fav narrators!
