Very predictable plot, but the story finished well. I would have liked there to be more reflection and slow changes with Noel,
she seemed to have a complete life revelation in about 24hrs. </Spoiler>

Wonderful book. This author is quickly becoming my favorite. It’s not just a Christmas story. Great plot. Truly enjoyed it.

A heartwarming and poignant story that made me smile and moved to tears.
It's about grief, changes, forgiveness and life.
I loved the characters, was fascinated by the mystery and couldn't put it down.
It's the first book I read by this author and won't surely be the last.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Edelweiss for this ARC, all opinions are mine

I say this every year, but I think The Noel Letters is my new favorite Richard Paul Evans book! I loved the whole story! I loved that it had a big bookstore presence and the love of books in it. It made me laugh and made me cry. This book has everything and will get you in the Christmas spirit if you weren’t already! If you haven’t read a Richard Paul Evans book, particularly a Christmas book, you don’t know what your missing and you need to read one ASAP! Once again he proves that he is the king of Christmas fiction! Highly recommend!

If you like the Christmas Hallmark movies, then you’ll love Richard’s new novel this year. It reads just like one of the movies.
Noel has to return to her small hometown to see her dying father. Once there she discovers some interesting things she never knew about her father. She also reconnects with her old high school sweetheart, Dylan, who is now a widow with a small child.
Will home Noel gets a call from her boss at the publishing company that she is being let go. Her roommate is also kicking her out. So now she has no job and no home to go back to in New York. After her dads funeral and only a few days before Christmas her boss calls her to beg her to come back. So now she has to decide what to do. Does she stay or go.

I am a bid fan of Richard’s and have read all of his books, but I gave this only 3 stars because like I said it read just like all those cheesy, cookie cutter movies that Hallmark shows at Christmas.

***I received an advanced e-copy of the book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest review

Noel Book Post receives a call saying her father is dying and she needs to come home. She hasn't been back to Salt Lake City for two decades because of a grudge she has been carrying. She has been under the impression, since she was a little girl, that her father was responsible for the death of her mother. By the time she arrives, her father is already dead. Noel plans to make the visit a short one, but when she discovers her father has left her everything he owned, including his bookstore, she has to put her plans on hold while she decides how to handle everything. As she is being constantly confronted with the past, she discovers that the customers and employees knew her father much better than she ever did.
Richard Paul Evans has done it again! Another heartwarming Christmas story that may cause you to shed a tear or two, and will definitely make you smile. This will help to put you in the holiday spirit, and it is the kind of book that would make the perfect gift also. I highly recommend it.
