Heartbreaking

This book absolutely gutted me. It drove me nuts in so many ways, it really did. I love watching Jenna and Damian find their way together.....but what happened at the end......I cried buckets of tears. I will never read this book again because it was just too sad for me, but I think this was a powerful story despite that. It just wasn't for me because I don't do sad.

First of all, the kindle description is a liar. There’s no assassin in this book that a MMA main character is trying to protect the FMC from. That would be a domestic abuser. There’s a difference.

Most of the characters felt like they were in a “my trauma is worse than your trauma” competition.

The descriptions of weapons made me feel like there was little research done. Same with the medical terms. 2k mLs of blood is not your entire blood volume….

Hard no from me dog.
