A take that had me in a grip from start to finish. Full of twists and turns that might seem used and overworked but that take a twist that you haven’t expected.

Yes, I am still reeling from that shock near the end!

My only “gripe”, if you can call it that, is that we don’t delve deep into the MMA world but it’s really a minor thing. We do get some nuggets of that but not much.

Definitely will be reading from this author again!

I read this book in one setting and ate it up
This book took me on a whole roller coaster of emotions.
It was heartfelt, sad, heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once.
An incredible read through and through
Trigger warning domestic abuse ⚠️⚠️
This book portrayed the emotions and thoughts and manipulations of abuse so well.
It had me falling in love with the right and wrong people and sobbing over minor details.
It was such an amazing book that was so well written and I love how this book keeps you on your toes about what is about to happen.

I really enjoyed this book, plenty of tension and questioning things, just when you think you know something you're swayed in another direction. I would have maybe preferred it more if it was dual POV

Hm. It portrays the shame domestic violence survivors often feel, but the obsession felt by the abuser is overdramatized. Also. One incident and suddenly Colton is off the rails, I’m not excusing the behaviour but there was zero growth.
