Mildly amusing but terrible continuity presentations. Some of the stand up was pretty funny some terrible yay for Pride but not really for this title there’s much better LGBT work out there.

I wish the acts had been left to stand on their own.

"seven fabulous storytellers as they share true tales of exploring, embracing, and celebrating queer identity.

You Do You, produced especially for Pride Month, brings Audible Members a collection of uplifting, raw, and hilarious stories from queer actors, comedians, and personalities. Co-hosted by French-tuck aficionado and super-stylist Tan France and storytelling maven Nikki Levy, You Do You is a fierce, unfiltered celebration of LGBTQIA+ realness.

You’ll hear live stories from RuPaul’s Drag Race fave D.J. “Shangela” Pierce about seeking some Beyoncé healing after a fateful death-drop injury, Janine Brito (stand-up comedian and writer for Netflix’s One Day at a Time) who made a curious calendar purchase as a tween, and Emma Willmann (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) growing closer to her sister through heteronormative wedding planning."

Very enjoyable and funny, but the delivery of some of the in-between dialogue felt a little stilted.

I LOVED THIS!!!

These stories were funny, empowering, VERY entertaining and encouraging. And the actors, comedians and performers telling them were amazing. It's already hard going through life as an adolescent and/or a young adult but to fall into the LGBTQIA category is even more challenging. However, these performers have all managed to do it fabulously

You do You: Proud to Be Fabulous with Tan France and Nikki Levy is a beautifully curriated collection of funny and fabulous #donttellmymother stories about Queer Life. An Audible Original - this has great production quality, but contains mature content and language- a great option for high school and older. A quick and wonderful listen to brighten your commute.

September 2019 (September Audible Original);

Another of the Audible Originals I just didn't end up liking. This one felt too gregariously crass in so many parts, and didn't have any of that glorious breezey beautiful classiness that I've come used to seeing in things with Tan. The stories all hold a wonderful kernel message to them about 'being yourself' but I spent too much of it wincing to have any good feelings about looking back on this listen.

Hilarious Audible special with a format that feels like a cross between a podcast and a Comedy Central standup special from the 2000s.
