🌶️🌶️🌶️ (at least the second half of the book, cuz sloooww burrn)
Plot-wise I liked book 1 better (I like a nice murder mystery plot) and generally I'm also not a fan of the whole 'I must stay away for their safety, but instead of communicating I will just push them away' shtick 😅 BUT. I would kill and die for Silas 🥹 He is so precious and sweet, and just wants everyone to be happy and thriving (and warm). I can't wait to see what happens next, maybe we get a book about Shep and DA Rivera? They definitely had a lil' somethin somethin going on!
Also, the spice? Hooooly moly, that was something else, dang! I love that Sam's job is an erotic audio content creator! And that Silas is like sooo supportive 🥰 If you're in the mood for a spicy, angsty slow-burn (alpha) shifter x human romance, definitely give this a try! But also, definitely read Under the Lupine Moon first!

i was honored to receive an arc in exchange for an honest review.

i have been waiting for this one for so long !
i love silas and sam so dearly and i have been waiting for their story after under the lupine moon for so long i was excited when we were nearing the release date.

i love silas. he is so crazy about sam but still remains respectful and keeps his distance vent though he knows how much the mean to each other. i did want to shake sam a couple of times for how stubborn he was, but it did keep the story going otherwise they'd have been together early and we love a yearning and struggling alpha.
sam's work was intersting and i loved how silas was not jugdemental and actually loved it. supportive hubby let's go !
gosh, i need another book about them asap. of even illustrated comics ! i'm sure they are super hot together !

the cover is absolutely stunning and helped me visualize the pair even better.

Can you follow up a superb debut novel with a fantastic fated mates, secret filled, paranormal romance? Yes, if your A. Knightley you can.
I absolutely loved this from the start, and right through to the HEA. I'm not generally one who enjoys a story that has one of the MC's with a big secret but this is so well written and I couldn't help falling into the story and the back and forth between Silas and Sammy.
Silas knows who Sammy is to him from when he met him back in book one, when Sammy came to rescue his brother, Jaime. However, with what Sammy had going on, he didn't want to involve anyone else and kept everything a secret. We all know things have a way of coming out but I think that the author has done a great job here of blending several important story arc moments together.
There are some amazing relationships on display in this book that show the strength of family, blood and found. Silas's parents are truly wonderful wholesome people who took the ultimate step for their family and to ensure the safety of their son. They then went further to welcome Finn when his own mother held little interest. Finn basically became Silas's brother and best friend, rolled into one and that is shown in the friendship bond that they have. Jaime and Sammy's relationship is a tough one with what they have been through in the past, and that's before the dramatic events of book one and what goes on here! We get to know a couple of others a little more as well and I'm really hoping we're back in Silver Rapids soon!
I cannot recommend this enough. There is something for everyone and it is an extremely well written paranormal romance with an edge of suspense and two men who are totally into each other but one is stubborn enough to deny himself from feeling lack of worthiness.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

If you're a Teen Wolf fan like me, or you're just obsessed with anything werewolf or supernatural, then Below the Hunter Moon will absolutely pull you in.

This is Silas and Sam’s book, and wow… what an absolutely beautiful couple. And no, it’s not just because the werewolves are hot as hell (I mean, that definitely helps), but because their journey is full of vulnerability, tenderness, pain, and healing. From the beginning, you know they’re meant for each other, but getting there? It won’t be easy. Because this is Silver Rapids, a town where nothing is ever simple, and supernatural chaos is just part of the charm.

Silas and Sam complete each other. Both of them have been through so much growing up, carrying fears, doubts, and emotional scars. And Sam… God, I felt for him so deeply. His fear, his hesitation, his “Do I really deserve love?” moments hit hard. But the way he slowly lets his walls down around Silas, the way he chooses love, even when it’s scary? It was everything.

And Silas. My boy. His growth is just chef’s kiss. The choices he makes, the weight he carries, even when it hurts him, watching him realize that he can be the change he’s always wanted to see? That he can lead, with love, with strength, with Sam by his side? Ugh. I cried.

Oh, and did I mention pack dynamics and fated mates? Because YES PLEASE. Every bit of that was perfect. I adored it in all its emotional, protective, soul-deep glory. And I need more. And yes, this is not the end, because there are still questions, secrets, and side characters just begging for their second chances and HEA.

As a sequel to Under the Lupine Moon, this books gives so much more depth to the world created by the author. There is character development while keeping with the fated mates and found family that was so delightful in the first book. I love how much there is  about the characters with the spice being part of the story. Not everyone does this well, but the author is wonderful at making it all work together.

One of my favorite sequels ever! If you love Grump/Sunshine, Mysterious, Fated Mates, Found Family and a touch of smutt/spice this is the series for you!!!

Silas and Sam are very different from Finn and Jamie but I love all four of them all the same!! This book continues the villain plot from Under the Lupine Moon so make sure you've read that before you jump into Hunters Moon other wise you will be missing some details!

This story has a mix of danger and mystery, a flavor of angst because one of our boys does not feel they are worthy of the love coming for them, and so much wanting for one another that you just want to push them together and go kiss already!  How Finn and Jamie don't do it I don't know because Sam and Silas really are stubborn in all the best ways.

I do have a lot to say so below this point is Spoilers!!

Sam is possibly the most stubborn loveable character you will meet!

I was kicking my feet the entire time I read this even when we had angst and sad moments. I absolutely adore that Silas first saw Sam on the worst day of his life. The fact that he found that marshmallow scented mess of Red curls when he needed a friend most and then they fund each other again when Sam needed him most, the fated mates are fated and i love it so much!!!

This story continues the murder mystery that started in Under the Lupine moon and goes into the part Sam plays in it all. I know Sam feels guilty for the roll he played in everything falling apart but he needs to accept all the hugs and comfort that Silas is offering him because he was in a hard place and trying to protect your brother is no reason to beat yourself up when things went south.

Silas is adorable! That man just wants a safe home, the ability to hug and kiss his mate (who totally doesn't realize he is his mate in the start). Of course his uncle has other things to say about that but the way Silas finally gets to take control of it all, take on the roll of alpha is beautiful!!

I loved getting to meet Silas' parents, their house sounds absolutely beautiful and it is the perfect family moment we all want to have. The moment Caine comes for the family destroys me.

Like I said I have so many things to say about this book!!! The ending Sam and Silas are at is a warm hug and while it is clear more is to come it leaves you content and ready to rest until we return back to Silver Rapids.

This was such a cute and heartfelt book! I loved it a lot.
Sam has a secret and he is afraid to tell it. He knows he should but he doesn't want to ruin everything. Silas never wanted to be an alpha. He has gone through a lot and suddenly he finds a red headed, stubborn human that means a lot to him. Sam doesn't want to be with Silas but when one event leads to another they are spending more time together. Can Sam keep hold of his secrets of will they come out and ruin things.
I loved Silas and as I already loved him from book one I am glad to see him get his mate and happy ending. This shifter romance was so much fun but also very heartbreaking. Both Sam and Silas had a lot of things to work through. I loved seeing them together. Silas was not giving up on Sam and it was so cute to see. Pack dynamics always intrigue me and seeing this pack form was so amazing!
If you are looking for a shifter, fated mates, found family romance this one is for you!
Thanks to A. Knightley for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
