i didn’t remember the book starting like that. it kind of feels like you’re just dropped into the story.
it’s still entertaining and an interesting concept. i’m not mad about the reread.
but i’m still shocked by the age gap between the romance interest and main character because that’s wild. idk why the author chose to make it so large when she’s still underage?

I was kind of sceptical reading this book because I didn’t want it to feel like a replica of the Twilight Saga. This book far proceeded my expectations and really made it its own world. Definitely recommend

Decidí releer estos libros porque vi la película y me acordé de lo mucho que me gustaban y también quise terminar la saga completa, que es lo que estoy haciendo ahora!
No puedo expresar lo mucho que me gustó, incluso más que la primera vez hace 5 años!
Rose es un personaje con el que me identifico en ciertas ocasiones y que también me ha inspirado mucho.

The book was okay. A little too similar to the House of Night series for me. I was also distracted by the obvious lack of editing. The edition that I have has numerous spelling mistakes along with words that were used incorrectly.
still the same rating I gave it 10 years ago, but I know this series gets better SO this is a 3 but series will end up a 5
