3.5 ⭐️ The way she dragged tf out of the ending...otherwise a cute story. Did I laugh, sorry, did I GUFFAW? Well, no. But I believed Miles’ and Daphne’s love story and the baggage they carried, as well as how they navigated it was (mostly) well done.

But when they get invited to their exes wedding, they pretend to be dating to make them jealous. Multiple tropes including fake relationship, friends to lovers, and forced proximity all work together to make a Funny Story. Book Lovers is still my fave, but this was a close runner up.
