Good choice for toddler storytimes, assuming the crowd is small enough to make reading from a book work: the text is simple, and the pop-ups are bright enough to hold their attention.

Fun pop-up book.

This book is especially fun to perform if you read it making the face expressions. However it is also an easy enough one to remember that if you don't have the book on hand you can still use puppet to tell the story.

the pop ups in this are fantastic. My almost 4 year old and I both loved it!

My childhood favourite!

This is a very nice, brightly-colored pop-up book that is perfect for a pre-school-aged story time program. The short story is about a frog who is interested in what other animals eat...until he meets an alligator!
Annotation: This is a great pop up book and the story is fun to tell. The more expression the better.
Age - Good for 2-6 years but with the caveat that they need to be gentle with the pictures.
Connection to six early literacy skills
Print Motivation - This is a great book that motivates children to read. It is fun and funny.

Opinion- I like this book and it would be great for a story to go along with a frog themed unit.
