The degradation is super strong in this book and it was a little too much for me but the writing was very good !

I was nervous to read a romance written by a male author, but was really pleasantly surprised by this one. The FMC is funny and relatable, and if I hadn't known better I would have believed she was written by a woman. I loved the progression of their relationship and the honesty of the highs and lows of this world.

And I don't know about anyone else, but damn the MMC was totally Jesse Williams for me.

Well done Mr Greer (Sir), I will be reading your other offerings!

i enjoyed this book for the most part. Greer’s narrative style isn’t necessarily my taste, it’s a bit casual for me, but I enjoyed the story. I loved Alina’s character. I really liked the love story and I found the plot unique. The story felt well paced. I don’t like that we hardly got ANY description of what Alina looks like. That’s weird to me. Overall though, it was a good and entertaining read.

Loved it!

Definitely Adult Rated, mature audiences only. I found this recommendation on TikTok where I find many amazing recommendations. I loved the truthfulness and the actual fact and definitions of the world of BDSM & D/s in the book. It is so well written, it keeps you on the edge and never wanting to put it down. I loved it!

“They say home is where the heart is. Well, this is home—here on his chest, in his arms, in this bed, within the walls of the Kingdom. I’m home.”

I have never highlighted so many things in my life, I’m talking whole pages. I read a lot of dark romance so I don’t usually resonate with the characters much. That definitely did not happen here. I was completely sucked in from moment one because of how much I can relate to Alina. Now, don’t even get me started on Nathan 🫠🥵 that man is 😚💨 *chefs kiss* The immediate chemistry between the two of them is off the charts and the spice! 🌶️🌶️🌶️‼️‼️ It’s in the same ballpark as 50 shades……only so much better!

I’ll be honest I saw this book on the clock app quite a while ago and just never got around to reading it. I was hesitant to start this book knowing the author is male (but also interested to see how the writing style differs from female romance authors) I went in assuming this would be written more for “the male gaze” as they say, but that’s is not the case at all let me tell you Im kicking myself for not reading it sooner. This is one of my top reads ever. I will immediately be seeing what else this author has in his back list.
