This book was so funny and so graphic! Unfortunately, the end was like the battle of hogwarts meets the end of Beauty and the Beast. SO funny that they were like “actually let’s just beat this ghost to death.”

I’m not sure how I feel about this book. It had some really good reviews which is why I picked it up. But I feel like I spend most of the time wondering why. Yes there were a couple of twists I didn’t see coming but there were also some I predicted really early on. I’m fairly new to this genre, so maybe it’s just not for me.

This was quite an expected one for me, I really ended up loving it (the very very end felt ever so slightly clunky so not a full five but close!)

3.5 ⭐️ rounded up. Would be great for spooky season. A little unnecessarily gory at parts, but I suppose that’s par for the course in the horror genre. Definitely kept me guessing throughout!
