Enjoyed the storyline and the writing was strong. Found myself liking all the characters, even Kenzie who naturally you’re supposed to dislike. The complexity of their flaws were described well and had me interested in each POV.

This one pulled me in right away with Marin’s story. Her son being taken and the way her whole world starts to unravel after. The drama, the secrets, the bad decisions… it all kept me going and flipping pages.
I won’t lie, a couple of the twists I saw coming, and there were a few slow spots, but overall it was engaging and worth the read.

Easy to identify with characters despite how outlandish most of them were. The twists were fun, but post-twist some characters seemed to lose their depth and nuance and become cookie cutter. Has thoughtful depictions on the complexities of grief, but I think this exploration sours a little with the ending.
