Like all of Brom's books, it had great ideas, characters, and art but damn it was hard to read.

^ Me reading this book with the pacing, lack of character depth, and blehhhhh. 19 hours of omfg.

I am a huge fan of peter pan and enjoyed this book for the most part but the ending upset me too much. it didnt feel right the way the lady acted in central park didnt fit to her portrayal in any way until that point so the death of a major character felt forced and unnecessary.
Overall fairly fun and an interesting twist on Peter Pan, but I wasn't 100% convinced by the characters or the ending, it never became emotional for me
This book was so good. It was so well written and the pacing was perfect, the story never dragged for me at all. I love how complex all the characters were and how none of them were really the "bad" guys. You got all of their perspectives and could see where they were all coming from. Even the ones who were so despicable that I would never root for them, I could still understand them and the things they did. I'm also just a sucker for fairy tale retellings and that sort of thing, and I loved the spin he put on this one. I loved this book, even more then Slewfoot honestly. Brom NEEDS to write more books.
This is not the Peter Pan you all know and love.
A twisted fairy tale retelling made of blood, gore, and madness, Brom tells us the story of Peter, a golden-eyed child of fae who never grows up. Although references from this book are taken from J.M. Barrie's original Peter Pan, Arthurian legends, and Irish folk tales, it's a different world altogether. And there is no island of Neverland. Instead, it is Avalon. Another thing is, the lost boys are Peter's warriors called Devils and even Tigerlily is transformed into Brom's Sekeu.
The thing that got me hooked to this story is the realness of it. The supporting characters get killed, sides are switched, blood, guts, and cold-blooded murder everywhere. Humanity is lost to insanity.
The madness in this book is outrageous. It has been present in the book since page one. You only have to look for it.
I don't recommend this to the fainthearted, but I do recommend it to people who are willing to have their childhood ruined. Good luck.

Peter, Sang Lady, Sang Pendeta, Ulfger sangat egois.
Mungkin tokoh sentral yang paling waras cuma Nick dan Sang Kapten..
Yaaa..
Overall buku ini keren.
