The enemies to lovers in this book is so hate-fuelled it almost doesn’t make sense. Maddox and Devon have been enemies since childhood, living in the same trailer park, in near poverty and with parents who can barely take care of themselves. Devon’s father is abusive and manipulative and the only way Maddox and Devon can fuel their anger is to take it out on each other from competing at motocross to beating each other bloody. Until Devon shows up so beat up and almost dead and Maddox is the only one around to take care of him.

Reasons I Recommend:

1) Sweet enemies to lovers that is a little messed up and yet oddly perfect

2) These idiots don’t know how to express themselves in a healthy way but the chemistry and undeniable draw they have towards the other is magnetic and

3) Despite his tough guy demeanour, Maddox Kane is soft hearted and will do whatever it takes to protect the man he’s claimed.

I’m not one for enemies to lovers but I loved this omg if it wasn’t so late now I’d immediately go to the next one but sadly I’ll save that for later. The banter omg the push and pull I love how they still fought and fucked with each other even though they were fucking each other. I absolutely adore them!!! And plz these two were obsessed from day 1 I’m just glad they finally stopped denying it 😏🙄
