This is a good story that I just didn't vibe with. The premise is unique. The dynamic between Devon and Maddox is one that I have not seen before. I think my struggle was that both MCs felt too similar to truly discern one from the other. The story was good, and the characters were interesting, but they weren't very different from each other to me. It had me struggling at times in the story, keeping them straight in my head. I mostly enjoyed the story, and I really like what was trying to be done here, it's just not really for me.

mm childhood friends to rivals to lovers and bi awakening.
i'm glad i met madd, dev, xavi & nate.

Maddox and Devon truly were written as an enemies/haters to lovers who remained haters which was top tier.

Nah that shit was cute as fuck and now I must read the second one immediately.

Rivals to lovers, but still rivals. So good!
There's definitely a thin line between love and hate for Devon and Maddox. But seriously, this story was so good. Two motocross racers from a trailer park who both have their own family issues to deal with, money struggles and, oh yeah, they hate each other. Like literally physically fight each other. Their story was great, definitely a true rivals to lovers.
Of course they have their HEA but it's not without some struggles.

- 2.5*
overall it was an easy read but that factors into why it is not particularly memorable of a story - not much individual character growth and the arguments/conversation/storyline felt pretty repetitive.

Badly written, plot is all over the place. Extremely repetitive and there is no way the 2 guys are 25. They are so immature. Also there is so much necessary  explaining about everything, treating the reader like we're stupid.
