3.5 stars rounding up because of Maddox's confessions that were full of possessiveness and feeling.

Now when it comes to the story as a whole, it was good, I liked it but from all the hype I was seeing, I was expecting to be swept off my feet and I wasn't. The writing was pretty good and I will continue with the series but I'll be hoping for something more to keep me going because the chemistry and the dynamic between Maddox and Devon could only take me as far as this book.
