Grumpy to sunshine trope! It was a little slow for me in the beginning.. but that ending… oh Lucy sure does know how to write a good ending.

Unfortunately this was one of the worst books I’ve ever read. The writing was horrible, the characters were tasteless and I was bored. Couldn’t wait for it to end!!

My heart!!!! This was such an exciting and beautiful read. The ending was literally perfect and I loved the epilogue. This book had so many amazing aspects to it that I’m instantly going to start the second!

I really enjoyed the formatting and pacing of this one. The initial chapters are a great set-up and fast-paced. They give you a little background without bogging the story down. I thought the author did a fantastic job balancing the MCs with side characters. I really loved these characters together. The format of the normal third act conflict coming up earlier really worked for me. I loved how the author gave us more time as the characters worked out that conflict. The shower scene was a definite hit as was the end. Both gave me all the feels. I'm looking forward to reading the Christmas book in December!
