Book is a Simplified guide for mindful walking meditation. I have finished reading this book when I was walking at the edge of a lake near our coconut garden.
There was an inconsistency in practicing meditation from the start of lockdown, So I was distraught by the friction of thoughts though I was comfortable with life. Hence picked this book to start with small steps to get back to my old routine.
The essence and beauty of walking are meaningfully explained in plain language with easy steps to practice it.
A few years back, Thich Nhat was one of my gurus before devoting my life in the lap of Sadhguru. Though I strayed away from his teaching or maybe outgrown his teachings, Still he guided me today with these simple steps to regain myself from the pit of hopelessness.
Connecting back to Mother earth to submit me in gratitude through walking is deep ,and offered me freedom from the past and future worries.
Thank you for writing this work.

The entire mindfulness essentials series is extremely good.
In this book I liked 'The staircase approach'. Gonna try to follow that.

It feels weird to rate this book, given what it is...but here are some honest thoughts:
This tiny book contains some simple and impactful advice, such as the suggestion to repeat the chant “Yes, yes, yes...thanks, thanks, thanks” alongside your footfalls. But it also contains this gem:
“Sometimes when I visit with friends or students from far away, they want to stay in touch. For the last 40 years, I haven't used a telephone...I don't have an email address...When people ask me for my address, I tell them, 'It's the here & now.'” While I admit that it's possible I'm just being a cynical jerk, I couldn't help but roll my eyes at that one.

You don't have to take a long walk. You can practice mindful walking going to the mailbox or climbing a flight of stairs. This is a small volume that's just long enough to remind you opportunities for mindfulness abound and walking is one of those opportunities.
