My first Nicholas Sparks book. I am only familiar with a couple of the movies and was drawn to read this book from high ratings on amazon by thousands of readers. A friend said it's her favorite of all his books. Turned out to be a great read with suspense and twists at the end.
I loved the movie, enjoyed the book even more. An absolute yes in my opinion. I enjoyed every minute!

It’s not that this was a bad book. It was just boring. Took me over a month to finish. I wasn’t excited to finish it either until it picked up in the last 50ish pages. And yet it was still so predictable. I wanted sadness and I did not get it. I think I need a break from Sparks. It’s always the same storyline just a different font. Can’t wait to watch the movie though!

My fiancé picked this out for me to read, it was a simple and good read :)
Sappy and predictable in a Nicholas Sparks' kind of way, yet of course I admit I became a wee bit teary eyed at the end! BTW, I think I saw this movie, years ago, starring Julia Roberts..LOL.
I'd actually give it more stars if it wasn't so unoriginal!
