Sweet Story!
The story was very sweet and their love was great but a lot of the tension and story I was expecting weren’t there. This book has tropes of him falling first, who did this to you, dual POV, no third act break up, etc. I would have loved to see more tension built into the story with her ex and more built out around the whole storyline. But it was a good fluffy read to break up genres and cleanse the palate.

This book left a whole lot to desire. There was hardly any plot, the FMC was so wishy-washy, and not enough details given. The spice had more detail than a lot of the other scenes, so much so that I was skipping them out of irration. Had to force myself to finish this book just because I didn't want to DNF two books in a row.

This is a cute palette cleanser. I needed a break from fantasy novels with huge worlds and a million characters. This is just spicy enough, the dialogue is pretty juvenile but sweet and the characters have no real problem which was just what I was looking for. It’s a good book to put in between heavier books.
