Great information. Would probably be better as a print copy for reference

As a young breast cancer survivor listening to this book felt a little grim. I can’t use hormone therapies, and I often felt like I am still doomed to an earlier grave from the issues caused by hormone deprivation at a young age. I guess that’s a good problem to have? That being said, even from my particular perspective, the book was full of helpful information about the history, misinformation, and science behind hormone therapy and menopause in general. It’s so helpful to know some of the things I’ve experienced are so connected to menopause and that there ARE things I can do, even if they aren’t going to be as helpful as HRT. The book had non-estrogen pointers for improving lifestyle to combat some of the symptoms and issues that are caused by menopause. I think this book is an important tool for women heading into this phase of life!

Other menopause books have better information without all the supplement nonsense. Also note the author says to avoid proprietary blend supplements, yet now sells her own.

Every woman over the age of 35 needs to read this book.

Good information. And the symptom based section in the back will be super helpful.

It can be a bit clinical, and so much of it needs more research (not in any way Dr. Haver's fault), but overall, it is a very good, informative, and important read.
