Very informative and easy for a non-doctor to follow. A ton of really practical and helpful advice.

This is a very helpful overview of almost every aspect of menopause and how we can take care of ourselves before, during, and after. I wish she had written about PMDD and what women who are already on the pill can do. One thing is for sure, I’m not afraid for MHT.

I’m an epidemiologist who got her start in women’s health. But that start was awhile ago and as a (now) perimenopausal woman I realized I was woefully behind on my knowledge. This book is very well researched and is immensely informative. I’m not going to treat it as the only word on menopausal health but it is an incredibly thorough foundation from which to start!

The book was full of good information.  Most of it I was already familiar with because of reddit/r/menopause but this is a great place to start for those new to the peri-menopause and menopause journey.

Flipped through before Dr appt

Very thorough but not very interesting read. Scanned the second half that just goes into very specific symptoms. Could be a good reference
