Kind of shocked with how much I truly enjoyed this. Brings back so many memories of my earlier reads when I first discovered reverse harem(RH) books. I’ve noticed that I tend to lean toward fantasy/paranormal RH books when I feel like I need a palate cleanser after having a fill of fantasy or in general romance books. I sometimes just need a good and easy book that I can get sucked into without much thought.
But, let me tell you I was completely hooked by the story from the first chapter until the very end, especially with that cliffhanger. Thank the universe the series is complete so I can read on without having to wait for months.
Really loved Daisy’s character. She’s fierce, takes no bs from anyone, and on top of that smart. Though some would say she’s pretty reckless because she constantly goes up against people who are 10 times stronger than her, but I still say she’s pretty badass.
Now about the guys, it was a rollercoaster. I really disliked half of them from the start but then little by little they grew on you only for them to do something stupid and you end up disliking them all over again. At the end though they really started getting things right

aside from being reminded that the FMC has impressive breasts (I wish I was joking) every ~50 pages this was good!
I just personally keep running into the problem with this type of book where I just feel zero incentive or interest in continuing. Like something about it just failed to spark any interest for me in seeing the series through. This is like the 3rd series where this has happend *sigh*

This was an easy enough read, but there were several plot holes, and the entire story just kind of jumped around a lot. I never really got the chemistry between Daisy and the boys. I felt like this was trying hard to be similar to Zodiac Academy, but the bully and relationship vibes were not as well developed. I enjoyed the idea of Idols and Gods and the challenges the Norms faced but wished it had been better developed. The final battle scene was very rushed.
