FMC (Fenella): 4 (cutie patootie but wish she had grown more into her confidence and sense of capability at court or just in being a wife; she really doesn't do much except plan a tapestry, fund a play, and sit for a painting)
MMC (Oswald): 3.75 (I loved him but I wish he would have opened up more to Fen by the end - sharing more of the secrets of his position with the King. Also, I still can't believe he never told her he forged their marriage license)
💕: 4 (they really did feel meant to be for some reason - when it was just the two of them they were sooo cute)
Plot: 2.75 (really got bogged down with all the political machinations that I don't really care about; wish it was more scandalous; dial up the angst baby!)
🌶: 3.75 (love that Coldbreath wrote this man as thirsty 🥵 for Fen)

Real quick: I like the idea of a hero having the rug pulled from under him and falling in obsessive love with the woman that he thought was frumpy and plain literally 2 seconds before but I'm just not BUYING it here. It kind of just seems like Ozzy hasn't gotten any in a very long time and his brain is all muddled as a result (love that for him though, we need more heroes who keep nickles between their knees).
