This was just so so good. The world building, the tension between Xaden and Violet

I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a book this dearly and deeply. This book keeps you guessing, keeps you feeling and believing, and above all dares you to love. 10/5 stars if I could. READ. IT.

If I could give this book 0 stars I would. I wanted to see what the hype was about, but I fear I’ll never get this time back. It’s cliche-riddled and weighed down by juvenile prose, hollow characters, and absolutely zero world-building. It feels like a 12 year old hot topic enthusiast in 2012’s tumblr era wrote this book. The main character is as pick-me as it gets and her love interest is insufferable and incredibly cringey. This entire book is incredibly predictable and I almost just didn’t finish it.
