Read the unrevised version. I don’t know if there’s a way to find that one in StoryGraph, as all I can find is the newer one, which I hear is quite different (and apparently much worse haha). I hope to read the revised version eventually so I can properly compare, but the unrevised one is perfect! It was an absolute fun time and Nancy was perfectly daring~
Worst Nancy Drew I have read (and I have read a lot). Whoever they got to ghostwrite this one brought shame to the Nancy Drew name. It’s boring, the characters are down right dumb and the whole vibe I expect from a Nancy Drew story was just not there.

I feel like this one is a little less realistic in that Nancy is recruited to solve a generic mystery instead of it being a part of her daily life, but this was still fun. Another one where the villain is clear from the beginning and it's more about outsmarting them than figuring out who's doing what.

Not my favorite Nancy Drew, but I did like the incorporation of Native American information (though whether it is accurate is a good question given how old it is). I also liked that they started to impact those around Nancy and they didn't just shrug it off.
I do have one curiousness that never really got cleared up--why was Clair (claire?) included? She seemed petty and really didn't add anything to the story. I wonder if the original version (1935) had her play a bigger part, but then it was cut down a bit in the 1970s re-release which is the version I read.
