Racism and Religious Discrimination

I have actually just had the best time listening to this book! Implausible, oddly hilarious and hugely entertaining - a proper yarn

I liked the premise of this book and was able to finish in one sitting - but it could have delivered a lot more and the casual racism shouldn’t be overlooked.

Enjoyable adventure story with a good cast of characters and a compelling sense of urgency. I found the plot a bit hard to follow though, partly I think because the writer seemed more interested in the adventure – the chase and the moments in which the hero's nerves are put to the test – than he was in the knitty-gritty "factual" details. I also don't really know much detail about the political situation in pre-WWI Europe, so that might have added to my confusion.

It was okay. Pretty boring really.
