Cute, nice small town vibe, no angst(or so little), no steam.

I need more

My love for Tilikum continues. I fell in love with the Bailey brothers and now I’m loving the Haven brothers. Josiah and Audrey were so cute. She didn’t mind his stoic mountain man attitude and he didn’t stand a chance against her ever the optimist demeanor. Throw in a dorky dog and the book was serious cute.

Audiobook Review:

I really liked how this started and the mystery surrounding who was stalking Audrey. I’m not a big romantic suspense fan so I didn’t figure it out until it was revealed. I also liked the little snippets of the stalker’s thoughts throughout. I also love a good grumpy + sunshine so this sounded like a good change of pace for me. I just prefer more spice. Also, their connection wasn’t that deep in my opinion.

This definitely could’ve been a lot better, but it wasn’t bad either. Just right in that middle ground.

Audio had 3 narrators, but was dual narration, meaning each narrator narrated one chapter and did male/female voices. The stalker had his own POV.

I love romantic suspense & I’d consider this one suspense lite. Sure it has a stalker creeping on the FMC but it didn’t feel too heavy which I loved. Small town, forced proximity, friends to lovers & a super sweet dog & the audio is great!

“I’m a simple man, Audrey. I just need one thing from you.”
“What’s that?”
“Just love me.”.
