I ate this up, couldn’t put it down. And I loved being back in Tilikum! I do wish we got some more glimpses of the Baileys, especially Gram!

I really liked the mystery aspect of the book. I kind of guessed it was the bartender because they talked about him a few times and it felt weird to have a new background character after reading the previous books. But overall I enjoyed the relationship between Josiah and Audrey. Also why didn’t she get a damn fence for the dog so he didn’t run off again lol

Authors Claire Kingsley wrote one of the best grumpy/shine tropes I’ve ever read. This book had me falling in love with the trope. The main characters Josiah & Audrey grew up in neighboring small towns but didn’t know each other then. Stalking and Josiah past are the conflicts which this couple face. I love the way the author entwined these theme. Audrey moved to Tilikum. Audrey must learn to accept a past secret of her father’s which she only learns through the course of this book but it ties to the all important climax. I would highly recommend the book and author to other romantic suspense readers. Audrey and Josiah meet in an unusual manner after his sister Annika doesn’t tell him she rented the house to Audrey.

What fun, captivating read. I must say I guessed the stalker after the first time he was mentioned but it was still fun getting to that point of the reveal of them. The story kept you captivated from the beginning. I stayed up as late as my eyeballs would let me trying to read as much as I could. I felt both main characters very likable. I do wish Audrey would've told Josiah that he was her high school crush though. Other than that, I really loved it. But I love all the Claire Kingsley books I read so it is no surprise.

After the Bailey's I wasn't sure I could like the Havens but I do!! Josiah and Audrey and Max were perfect!! Josiah is your grumpy lumberjack who just wants to live his life alone. Then Audrey enters like a hurricane of sunshine with her derpy dog, Max! But she brings an unknown stalker with her. Who is stalking Audrey and why? And will they be able to figure this out in time for their happy ending?
