I was fortunate enough to get an arc of this book!!

Another fantastic book by Claire Kingsley! I love a good small town romance, and this book definitely delivers. It had a good amount of suspense, I had no idea who the stalker could be until the very end! So that was great!! I loved the main characters and the story of them getting together, really loved the fact that there was no 3rd act breakup. Oh Max you have my heart! There’s only one spice scene and it’s not that detailed or anything, kind of very straightforward. That’s why this book is only getting 4 stars, needed more spice!!

Can’t wait to read about the rest of the brothers!!!

Cute, easy read. Guessed the plot twist but that’s pretty normal with these mostly fluffy romances. Love the small town vibes, and I’m a sucker for these broody mountain men.

Obsession Falls by Claire Kingsley is the first book in The Haven Brothers series. This is a grumpy x sunshine suspense romance. I am such a sucker for this trope and this book did a perfectly. The characters and the plot line in this book were both written well. The stalker element of the plot kept things interesting and suspenseful. I truly enjoyed the romance and stalker mystery in this book. I am excited to read the rest of the books in this series. All the brothers are so different and I am interested to learn more about them in their stories.

Audrey is a bubbly and optimistic dog lover. I love how she always sees the positive in a situation. Josiah was such a grump but knowing his past I totally understood why he was the way he was. Seeing his hard exterior melt for Audrey was heartwarming. I loved how these two communicated when they thought the other person was acting off. There was no third act breakup which I loved. These two were opposites but they complimented each other well. I thought they had great chemistry. Also Max was such a cutie! I am looking forward to see what awaits the other brothers. I highly recommend this book if you love grumpy x sunshine, suspense, small town romance,

I previously read this book and rated it lower than 4 stars but i think it was a case of right book, wrong time.

My biggest issue with the book in the past was I knew there had been a previous series set in this small town and I couldn’t get into this one knowing I was missing some context, even if it wasn’t important. I’ve since read (and loved) Bailey Brothers so I decided to give the Haven’s another chance.

I really liked Josiah and Audrey. Their love was a bit more quiet, a bit more mature rather than blazing chemistry. Don’t get me wrong, the chemistry was still there but overall it was a little softer.

I love romantic suspense and overall I thought this was good. I can’t speak too to it too much as I knew who did it but I will say it worked well during the second reading
