One of the best suspence romantic storys i have ever read/listened!
This was my first suspence romantic story. The author is also new to me. I listened to this as an audiobook. The narrators were really good and appropriate for this book. I found myself liking and enjoying this story. This is a perfect mix of good character development and growth, good and witty dialogues & monologues, plot was engaging and keep me wanting to know everything what going to happend. If i would be read this i would not put that book down on my hands. That was easy and quick read. I really liked that. I would love to recommend this book to everyone who love suspence romance, grumpy / sunshine, broody and hansome hero who risk it all for her and save her life. Love them story and them love story. Josiah and Audrey are amazing 🩷

A solid small town romance suspense novel! There were times the book felt dialogue heavy, but I enjoyed reading about Audrey and Josiah. Their romance didn’t have huge barriers, which I appreciated since there was another more pressing plot. Reminded me of a Catherine Cowles novel!
