What a fascinating read, too short though. It had me from the beginning which is partly why I enjoy novellas.

Incredibly interesting concept, but the execution just wasn’t there for me.

Simple, short, and really amazing. The story wasn't very special in itself, but the characters!

I'm not a big fan of reading series. This was the first book I've read from Sanderson. It was short and a very quick read. I wouldn't mind reading the whole series if all of them are going to be this short. The multiple hallucinations in Stephen's mind are presented well and you don't need to pay a lot of attention to figure out what is going on, which can be a problem when 80% of the characters are in someone's head. But, apart from the main character, the story itself is also quite intriguing. It is mainly an introduction and it does feel like it's building to something bigger, but it wraps up well enough. The only thing that I didn't like was the 'Language' thing from Ivy. Do people still consider 'damn' and 'bastard' as swear words, especially coming from adults?

It's important to treat Legion as a novella as I've read a small number of people complaining about the pacing. In my opinion, the story is wonderful and just such a simple but brilliant concept from Sanderson.

One of my favourite parts of Legion is Sanderson's commitment to - ironically - the first person element of third person narration, if that makes sense. I love that the descriptions we get are from Stephen and so he's just pretty frank and says "Yeah it's an Idian style dress thing".

I actually found the ending quite powerful as well and in particular Ivy's words and subsequent explanation when she sees the image.

Well worth a read!

This was a fast paced and quite humorous read! I loved the premise and all of Stephen’s hallucinations, my favourite of them being, without a doubt, J.C. Since this is a novella, it is quite short, but I just wish it was a little bit longer so that some of the scenes could be elaborated on more because a good amount of the book left me craving more information. But other than that, this was a fast-paced, fun, brilliant read :)
