I absolutely loved this story. Sofia and Ryan's relationship is what all couples want to be. I can't wait for the next in the series.

*I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review*

Ryan Justice is a star Bellevue Bully hockey player and the nephew of a star Assassins player. This is to be his year to make it to the NHL. Sofia is attending Bellevue on a full ride to be on their new gymnastics program. Sophia and Ryan meet thru her roommate who happens to be Ryan's sister. Thru their ups and downs during the school year they manage to have a relationship that is envious. Of course, as the end of the season approaches so does the pressure Ryan faces of not being drafted into the NHL. Sofia has only ever wanted to graduate from college and open her gymnastics' school. Is the end game for Ryan to be a star in the NHL or follow the path of his heart as an Athletic Trainer for an NHL team? Do Sofia and Ryan's relationship survive his graduation and her sudden stardom as the face of the gymnastics' program. I could answer these but I won't because you really need to read the book to find out for yourself.

The End Game has to be my favorite Bellevue Bully book written by Toni Aleo. If you haven't read her before I suggest you start with her Nashville Assassins' series then the Bellevue Bullies. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

I absolutely loved this story! But then, i love all of Toni’s stories.. didn’t want it to end, i love that she keeps coming back to bringing her beginning characters- Shea and Elli into her stories. Ryan is so swoonworthy, and love that he had to work a little for his relationship with Sofia. Hope that there is a story in the future with either Moon or Amelia.

"You deserve the world, and if it isn't going to give it to you, then you go and take it"

This may be one of the less dramatic Toni Aleo stories, but it was still heartwarming. A lot of her stories are so dramatic and intense it was nice that this was a bit different and on the softer side. I'm also glad to see cameos of the Adler family. If I had it my way we'd get a book by every single one of them. Also, my heart still swoons over Shea Adler. When Sofia said he was good looking even with the greying hair my heart almost fell out of my chest just picturing one of Aleo's best characters.

Ryan Justice is Shea Adler's nephew. All he's ever wanted is to be in the NHL just like his favorite uncle. It's his senior year in college and he still hasn't been drafted and it's bringing him down. While he's going through that he meets his sister roommate Sofia Castilleja. A damn good gymnast and of course gorgeous. Their love story isn't over the top and wild. It's sweet and slow. Sofia is an amazing girl. Her positivity and confidence is just what Ryan is in need of. Her best trait is her selflessness. Ryan has some important life decisions to make and Sofia knows he needs to put that before her.

I really, really, really liked this story. I think their relationship depicted a good balance between two people. Both have strong wills and goals. Aleo taught us that sometimes it's okay if dreams change.

I enjoyed this book and I appreciated what I considered the unexpected but felt character appropriate ending. But it went from 4 stars to 3 for me because of the family role- a large part of the book in about Ryan wanting to go into the NHL so there are discussions with his family and discussions about what a large role his family plays in his life. It felt disingenuous that everyone would have been so hands off about what exactly was happening with that process so that his uncle was shocked he hadn't spoken with anyone, to the point that I found it annoying.

The book was still enjoyable and I'll still continue to enjoy the series and this author (I appreciate how she has her characters consider and self-analyze) but this just threw me out of the story and I couldn't really ever settle back in.
