Not too bad of a story. I like how it ended on a positive note but also, I wish the MC wasn't 22 having a baby. That's just so young!

I can tell where this is going and I'm cutting my losses. The smutty scenes are great, but there's no real chemistry between them, other than the established couple. And the FL is immature AF, so much so that she reads as a teenager.

Multiple reasons why I didn't like this book. Most of them are personal so no knock to the author, but I really wish pregnancy had been part of the trigger warnings.

I didn't like Carl...asshole and kinda narcissistic at times...some things he does seem really manipulative. Katie was great until she acted extremely immature, but that was also the point Carl became a hard no for me too.

Also, getting off while riding a horse is too close to beastiality for me.

So, all together, with characters that I didn't vibe with, a trigger, and Katie's past with her dad also being a trigger...I had to DNF. It was just a hard no for me.

Based on how the book started off and the premise (two bisexual guys advertising for a girl on a website), I thought this might be spank bank material. And I'm not saying it wasn't hot (though I have to admit to cringing during the whole stretching thing, lol). But there was a real story here. Beyond the getting-paid-for-sex-with-two-men thing.

Katie has just finished school and thinks she has a plan for her life... one that doesn't involve taking advantage of the benefits of her father's name and wealth. He wasn't around the first part of her life, and once he was, she felt like he was always flaunting what he had and that she would never have. They didn't have a great relationship. Then there's Carl and Rick, who have been together for years after meeting via a threesome with Carl's ex-girlfriend. They desperately want a woman in their lives, but many women are put off by the idea of two guys... two bisexual guys might be harder for some women. They also have a very specific need that seems to scare off most of the girls who agree to the two guys thing. Rick is an artsy, carefree, emotional guy. Carl has a more forceful, dominant personality. And it turns out that Carl works for Katie's dad, they find out later.

So the story is sort of about Katie coming to terms with her father and his family, coming to terms with decisions her mom made long ago, and realizing what's really important in life. Carl and Rick both help her with all of that. It's also a story about a threesome figuring out how to be a threesome (nobody expects it to be easy). In all, it was a much deeper story than I expected.

pleasantly surprised. actually had a plot, and a good one at that. i cried near the end of the book. for a smut book to make me cry... impressive

Wow! This took me almost an entire month to finish and I am not too proud of that lol. This felt like a very dirty contemporary romance, which was not what I was expecting going in. I was expecting a dirty story, and it was, but there was a PG feel to it. If that makes sense. I hope that nobody see’s my 3 star review and judges this book too harshly, it was a cute story, I just think it wasn’t for me. Contemporary romance isn’t my favorite genre, this was my first MMF read (and I don’t think that genres for me either lol- I’m more of a one-on-one type reader), and I really don’t find horses or the equestrian sport particularly interesting. Add to this that it’s well over 400 pages, and one could probably see how I ended up here. Anyway, it’s a good hearted story that’s deeper (haha) than one would think. Even with it not being my taste, I still enjoyed the story.
